What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of demonstrable experience, education and training;
- 3 – 5 years of work experience in the area of labor compliance;
- Strategic, commercial thinker and problem solver with strong analytical capabilities and sound judgement;
- Ability to network, influence, and utilize internal and external resources;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to offer appropriate solutions that balance business needs and compliance;
- Ability to present sophisticated technical information in a concise manner to key partners;
- Ability to lead cross functional initiatives and project teams.
what will you do
As the EMEA Labor Compliance Lead, you will support the Director, Labor Compliance – EMEA in managing a comprehensive and integrated compliance offense. Partnering with key stakeholders in People Solutions and NIKE Legal, you will draw on your in-depth labor law expertise to play a key role in activating this offense in service of Nike’s strategy across compensation, benefits, retirement and equity programs throughout the region. You will be responsible for providing advice and counsel to Nike HR and business managers on all aspects of labor compliance issues including risk consideration and implementation of policies and procedures. You’ll also coordinate and supervise responses to all labor inspections and audits and will lead the process through to resolution. In addition, you will identify, provide advice on and address labor compliance risk associated with legislative compliance developments affecting employees and develop strategies to respond to compliance issues. Together, the People Solutions Labor Compliance team maintains a proactive, sustainable model of operational risk management across the globe.

- Utilizing your specialized expertise to minimize compliance risks while decreasing administrative burdens where possible;
- You will need to anticipate potential roadblocks, identify opportunities for improvement and provide practical approaches to problem solving;
- Operate with high levels of organization, lead through ambiguity and offer appropriate solutions that operationalize compliance requirements for the HR functions;
- Lead presentations and present complex technical information in a concise manner to stakeholders;
- You will be responsible for providing advice and counsel to Nike HR and business managers on all aspects of labor compliance issues including risk consideration and implementation of policies and procedures;
