who are you
During a training period of ten weeks, we will teach you all aspects of the scaffolding profession. After that, you will work with your colleagues at one of the major clients. These clients include companies like Shell, BP, and Neste. Since this company has more than fifty clients in Rotterdam and the surrounding area, the project will always be nearby.

what will you do
Scaffolding in the industry is a specialized profession. Scaffolds are often built dozens of meters high while the floor space is limited. Stability is essential! Together with your team, you will move from project to project. You will be responsible for constructing (often complex) scaffolds in a safe and secure manner. After the scaffold is built, maintenance is handled by the insulation and conservation team. At the end of the project, you will assist your team in dismantling the scaffolds.
- Going through safety instructions
- Discussing the work with both internal and external colleagues
- Assembling and disassembling various types of scaffolds, always ‘Always On Line.’
- Loading and unloading material wagons
- Sorting damaged material and reporting shortages or leftover materials
- Operating and giving instructions for lifting equipment
