Head of IT (m/f/d) Management (m/f/d) IT We, the German Red Cross in the StädteRegion Aachen are looking for a Head (m/f/d) in full-time for our IT department with immediate effect. This position is offered on a permanent basis. The DRK Kreisverband Städteregion Aachen e.V. and its subsidiaries, are an association of free welfare and at the same time national aid organization with over 900 employees and about 2,000 volunteers in 10 local associations. The DRK in the StädteRegion Aachen operates, among other things, 12 day care centers, corporate health management, several rescue stations, refugee shelters, 3 day care centers and much more. Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and processes to support the company’s business goals and objectives Manage and optimize the IT budget and monitor spending and investments. Ensuring information security Evaluate and select technologies, software and service providers to support IT infrastructure and applications. You are significantly involved in the further development of the digital corporate structure People who inspire us: Have a degree in (business) computer science or comparable qualification (career changers are also welcome). Have several years of professional experience in a managerial position, ideally as an IT manager or IT manager. Have experience in the development and implementation of IT strategies and policies Demonstrate analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve complex IT problems Possess excellent communication and presentation skills Identify with the principles of the DRC www.zusammen-fuereinander.de
